Peak Mechanical were engaged by a long-standing client to deliver a mechanical services upgrade at the North Northamptonshire Council headquarters, Corby Cube. The scheme centred on the replacement of ageing plant with a modern, energy-efficient heating system, supporting the building’s transition towards improved efficiency and long-term sustainability.

Scope of works included:

• Supporting a valued client through the planning, coordination and delivery of all mechanical services works
• Decommissioning and removal of existing mechanical plant and associated systems
• Installation of new air source heat pump (ASHP) plant
• Supply and installation of buffer vessels to improve system performance and operational stability
• Installation of new hot water heaters to meet building demand
• Installation of all associated mechanical pipework, valves and ancillary equipment
• Programming and sequencing works to minimise disruption within an occupied building
• Provision of a resilient, low-carbon heating solution designed for future requirements
