We’re proud to have successfully completed our first project with the National Trust at the historic Gunby Hall Estate.

This exciting scheme involved upgrading the existing heating system from gas to a low-carbon heat pump solution, supporting the National Trust’s sustainability goals while preserving a heritage property dating back to the 1700s.

Our scope of works included:

• Pre-flushing of the existing heating system, to prevent the existing cast iron radiators from being removed from site and cleaned.
• Installation of new distribution pipework through the building
• Installation of new cast-iron radiators, in keeping with the building’s character
• Commissioning and balancing of the heating system
• Re-dosing of the new heating system

It was a privilege to work within such a beautiful and historically significant property, carefully balancing modern efficiency with heritage preservation.

We worked closely with the National Trust team, including Chris, Renewable Energy Project Manager, and Wendy, Senior Collections & House Officer at Gunby Hall, to ensure the project met both sustainability and conservation requirements.
