Project Overview
We’re proud to have successfully completed our first project with the National Trust at the historic Gunby Hall Estate.
This exciting scheme involved upgrading the existing heating system from gas to a low-carbon heat pump solution, supporting the National Trust’s sustainability goals while preserving a heritage property dating back to the 1700s.
Our scope of works included:
- Pre-flushing of the existing heating system, to prevent the existing cast iron radiators from being removed from site and cleaned.
- Installation of new distribution pipework through the building
- Installation of new cast-iron radiators, in keeping with the building’s character
- Commissioning and balancing of the heating system
- Re-dosing of the new heating system
It was a privilege to work within such a beautiful and historically significant property, carefully balancing modern efficiency with heritage preservation.
We worked closely with the National Trust team, including Chris, Renewable Energy Project Manager, and Wendy, Senior Collections & House Officer at Gunby Hall, to ensure the project met both sustainability and conservation requirements.
We’re delighted to have delivered this project and look forward to future collaborations.
