Peak Mechanical were appointed to deliver the mechanical installation works at the new Arla facility in Lockerbie for a new client.

The project comprised two key areas: the new office space and the VAT room where cheese production takes place.

Within the office, we installed full domestic services, supplying and connecting new sanitaryware across toilet facilities, kitchenettes, and kitchen areas.

Works within the warehouse included the installation of new chilled distribution pipework from a newly installed chiller plant, serving five blast coolers within the cheese production area and AHUs within the salt store.

All chilled pipework was prefabricated and welded off-site at our dedicated welding facility before being delivered to site for installation, ensuring efficiency and maintaining quality control.

In addition, Peak Mechanical designed, manufactured, and installed a bespoke steam skid to supply steam to a new AHU within the salt store.

All works were completed on programme and delivered to a high standard.
