Peak Mechanical Services was appointed by a local contractor who on behalf of Eon Energy required the complete design to two pre-fabricated heat substations to supply heat from a district heating network to 758 student rooms and 67 affordable homes.

The substations were designed to transfer energy from the district heating network via a heat exchanger for users to deploy heat through their property.

The substation has its own dedicated control system that will control the provision of heat to the user while at the same time protecting the district heat network from any equipment malfunction.

Peak Mechanical was responsible for the complete design, fabrication and installation of the heat stations for both the student and residential high rise properties.
